Right: The ice falls by gravity, guided by the ice discharge tubes into insulated IB500 ice boxes, which have
lids and drains and have been screen printed with EHT for ID purposes. Up to six boxes can be filled at once.

Macro sized granular flake was chosen for it's excellent storage characteristics, both during initial post production storage and in the fish holds of fishing boats.

You would be forgiven for thinking of Ziegra as a manufacturer of stand alone ice machines only and to a
large extent that is true. We do provide probably the widest range of stand alone ice machines on the market today. But we do so much more than that.

Over the last 30 years we have installed ice plants of all shapes, sizes and configurations, all over the UK mainland and Islands.

We like to think our ice machines are well thought of but it's always nice to hear good things from our customers.

One of our customers design and manufacture training equipment for the refrigeration industry under the brand name Learn2chill.

They specialise in developing equipment to assist service technicians to develop their understanding of a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, both domestic and commercial, including building services, cold chain storage, comfort cooling & heating and all the associating control systems.

UV Filters Are Your Friend We talk a lot about hygiene at Ziegra, partly because it's important to most of our customers but also because we aim to provide the best possible options for all our machines and we have a number of possibilities to offer, UV being just one.

Even though our granular flake ice machines are intrinsically more hygienic than most of our competitors ice machines, we still recognise the need to offer several hygienic options depending on the requirements of the process we are evaluating.
