Water Filters

Ice machine water filters

A water filter is an essential piece of equipment to ensure ice machine reliability, longevity and efficiency.  Water filters are now supplied with all new Ziegra ice machines as standard. A well specified and maintained water filtration system reduces water related ice machine problems caused by scale, particulates and dissolved minerals in the mains water supply.

We estimate that up to 70% of ice machine failures are caused by avoidable water related problems, so it is very important to fit the unit that comes with your machine and maintain it as per the guidelines.

Small machines from  30kg to 375kg come with a Ziegra single water filtration unit, while larger machines come with a Ziegra triple filter.

With either system, the cartridges should be changed regularly at the prescribed intervals to ensure good hygiene and reliability.
