Our highest specification manual ice bins comprise an elevated ice bin, combined with one or more carts that plug in underneath.
Operation of elevated ice bins and carts is straightforward - ice is loaded by pulling a handle, then falls from the bottom of the bin into the cart below.
To reseal the bin once the desired quantity of ice has been discharged, the handle is simply pushed back to its original position.
Ice is removed by gravity, which makes elevated ice bins extremely easy to clean and promotes good hygiene, as the first ice created is the first removed for use, eliminating the possibility of stale ice build-up.
Elevated ice bin models
Ziegra’s extensive range of elevated ice bins offers a configuration to suit virtually any commercial ice machine requirement.
The BK150, BK200 and BK400 models are all available as standard with ice carts but can also be purchased with a wider based specification for use with customers’ own existing carts.
This wider specification applies to the BK630 WB and BK970 WB elevated ice bin models, which have been designed for use only with existing carts.
For customers looking to purchase separate ice carts for use with elevated ice bins, Ziegra offers our high-performance BR80 insulated carts with drain and lid.
